POC helmets and goggles are beautifully designed, colorful, and highly functional. The brand needed displays that would reinforce that image in the crowded ski and snowboard space.
We designed a Countertop Case that offered a flexible platform within which to present a variety of goggles and, eventually, sunglasses. We conceived a strongly branded “jewel case” to help elevate the brand and the perceived value of the eyewear.
The lockable powdercoated steel and acrylic case features two fixed acrylic shelves. The bottom shelf features a removable, branded “mouse pad” to add visual interest and protect the product and the case from scratching. The orange base, with a unique cutout detail, and subtle logo icon screened at the back of the case combine to strengthen the brand statement. The case is mounted to a lazy susan to give the customer a 360º view of the product. The POC logo is repeated on a logo plaque on the front and is screened on the two sides.
The Case makes a strong statement about POC’s products and injects a powerful brand statement about their high-end products. Both POC representatives and their retailers welcomed the new addition to their display offerings.
POC helmets and goggles are beautifully designed, colorful, and highly functional. The brand needed displays that would reinforce that image in the crowded bike, ski and snowboard space.
We designed a simple wire bracket that would present the POC helmets, reinforce the brand, and provide product information.
The curved, powdercoated wire form is designed to accommodate the full range of POC helmets – bike, ski, and board. The minimal form echoes POC’s clean, Euro-design look and feel, while providing a durable display element that will survive the rigors of retail. The POC logo is presented on a plaque at the base of the Bracket. An optional acrylic card holder can attach behind the logo plaque and hold easily updated product Features and Benefits.
An initial run of Brackets was distributed in the Fall of 2011. POC USA welcomed this new tool to help carve out space on retailers’ slat, peg, or slat grid walls.
