Red Wing Shoe company partnered with Eric Clapton to produce a special line of shoes called Clapton Classics. All proceeds benefited Clapton's Crossroads rehabilitation program in Antigua. The display had to feature 3 Clapton Classics shoes as well as provide strong branding for Red Wing Shoe Company and Fender Guitar. The display needed to work in both slatwall and countertop environments without occupying a large footprint.
The introduction of this display met with tremendous enthusiasm from Red Wing Shoes, Fender Guitar, Eric Clapton himself, and his band. The simple creative concept was effective in drawing attention to the new line of designer Clapton shoes. The basic design allows Red Wing to introduce any new SKU to the Clapton line while allowing them to change the backer card as well. The display was distributed in Europe, Japan, and the United States.
Red Wing Shoe Company wanted to feature a new line of shoe soles at retail which would draw attention to the sole technology. The display needed to work as a countertop display as well as fit into slat wall. The display should feature an actual sole while providing highlights of the new soles. The display should provide strong branding of the Red Wing name.
The introduction of this display met with tremendous success both within Red Wing Shoe Company and their customers. The simple concept was effective in drawing attention to the new line of soles featured on many of their shoes. The basic design allows Red Wing to introduce any new sole technology while allowing them to change backer cards and feature/benefit information. Red Wing has used this design to introduce several new soles.
