Easton Sports is one of the most respected providers of hockey equipment. From the club level to the NHL, Easton skates, sticks, pads, and helmets are all sought after for their cutting edge design and superior performance. When Easton introduced the Z Shock, a new, incredibly lightweight, yet unbelievably strong helmet, they asked us to design a cart that would display and dispense the product. Capacity requirements were 4 display helmets and 24-boxed helmets. The Cart needed to be strongly branded with easily updated and interchangeable graphics. A pivoting mirror was requested as an added embellishment.
The Z Shock was introduced during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Retail interest was high, and the Cart filled the need for a compelling visual display that also organized the product and elevated its perceived value above the competition. Once the initial carts were ordered sales of the revolutionary new helmet were brisk.
