Black Diamond Headlamp Tree and Bracket

CHALLENGE

Create a universal bracket for Black Diamond's line of Performance LightWear. The individual brackets must also fit on a stand in a tree configuration that accommodates up to 4 headlamp brackets.

MARKET RESULTS

The headlamp brackets and tree stand rolled-out to retailers in the US, Europe and Japan. The unique design of the brackets and their ability to function as a set gives retailers the flexibility to merchandise the Black Diamond headlamps in various selling environments.

Black Diamond Trekking Pole Display

CHALLENGE

Create a trekking pole display which would meet the needs of both small and large outdoor retailers. The display needs to hold 12-24 pairs of fully-extended trekking poles and feature strong branding for Black Diamond as well as provide product information. It needs to work as both a slatwall unit as well as a freestanding floor unit. The floorstanding unit must also have room to merchandise up to 6 accessory items. The quality of the display must be worthy of the quality of Black Diamond's high end image yet be affordable enough to fit a restricted budget.

 

MARKET RESULTS

The display was greeted great enthusiasm by Black Diamond as well as their customers. The design offered tremendous flexibility of set-up that allows its use in a wide range of retail environments. The trekking poles are presented in an orderly manner, allowing easy access and replacement by the customer. Initial production included distribution to both domestic and international Black Diamond customers. Strong branding and quality construction reinforces Black Diamond's commitment to their sport and promise of delivering high quality climbing equipment.
